Kensington Shopping Center Sold

Plaza Kensington, a strip shopping center at 4179 Adams Ave., has been sold for $2.38 million.

Built in 1961, the 3,388-square-foot center was bought by Paul Kasawdish of Kasawdish Property Holdings, LLC.

The seller was Scott Owen of Kensington Office rentals.

Kasawdish operates Clem’s Bottle House across the street at 4100 Adams Ave. and plans to lease the shopping center in the short term, eventually moving his business to the center, according to Nick Totah, senior vice president of investments with the Totah Group in Marcus & Millichap’s downtown San Diego office.

Totah and Ross Sanchez, senior investment associate for the Totah Group, represented Owen and Kasawdish.
